This house design has a living area, dining area and kitchen at first floor level, together with a projecting viewing gallery and balcony to maximise the views across the sea towards the south end of Bressay.

The site, which is on the fringe of an established cluster of houses, slopes significantly away from the nearest house and can therefore accommodate a two-storey house within the context of the existing built environment.
