It was decided to demolish the original building on this site as it was partially derelict, and design a new office building for a variety of users on three floors to reflect the original character as far as possible using corrugated cladding and traditional style windows. Some of the pitch pine timbers salvaged from the original building were machined to form moulded finishings for parts of the new building.
